F A Q
What does e-invoicing tax compliance cover?
We review mandatory e-invoice fields, tax codes, document issuance and transmission timelines, processing statuses, and data retention procedures. We also help establish internal controls to identify and correct errors.
What information is checked in an e-invoice?
We check seller and buyer details, descriptions of goods or services, amounts, dates, tax rates, VAT codes, and other mandatory fields. The exact data requirements depend on the transaction type and applicable system rules.
What should we do if an e-invoice contains an error?
First, the cause of the error should be identified and the source data corrected. The document can then be resubmitted through the established process. In some cases, a credit note or another corrective document may be required.
Who is responsible for data accuracy—the company or the ASP?
The ASP manages the technical transmission of data, while the company remains responsible for the accuracy of the information generated by its accounting or ERP system. Technical validation and internal tax controls should therefore be treated as separate responsibilities.
Do e-invoices need to be retained after transmission?
Yes. Companies must retain e-invoices, processing statuses, and related data in a format accessible for review. We help establish appropriate retention procedures and allocate responsibilities between employees, systems, and service providers.
